Our Approach

                   Welcome to the studio. This is a space for focused learning, quiet growth, and artistic exploration. Thank you for being here. As your teacher and the owner of this studio, I guide each session with intention. Whether it’s a bit  of conversation, a demonstration, or a moment of observation—there’s a method behind it.

Our atelier

This is not just a workspace;

it’s a learning environment where respect, calm, and care come first. What we’re doing here is rare. This studio is modeled after the atelier tradition—centuries-old studios where skilled sculptors guided students toward mastery of the human form. These are beautiful, valuable spaces—true little jewels in any city. They are not common, and they are not casual. So when you choose to work here, no matter what your goals are—whether you’re here for focus, therapy, creativity, or technical growth—you are still part of that tradition. You are here to learn sculpture correctly, not just to do what feels good in the moment. That doesn’t mean you can't explore or follow your own path, but it does mean that instruction and structure come first.

Studio Etiquette

 Speak Kindly & Respectfully

  • If something feels distracting, please feel free to say so—but always with courtesy. Let’s support one another with grace.

Stay Open to Feedback

  •   Guidance is offered to help you succeed, not to criticize. Trust the process—it protects you from frustration and builds real skill.

Honor the Studio’s Focus

  • We study figure sculpture grounded in classical tradition. Creative expression is

              welcome—but must be rooted in strong practice.

 Let the Studio Be a Sanctuary

  • Quiet energy helps everyone. Let’s keep conversations purposeful, and be mindful of the group space.

Appreciate your own work

  • "Comparison is the thief of joy." T.Roosevelt.

Thank you for helping make this studio a respectful and inspiring place to create.
